Clyde Sheltons family was brutally murdered. Those responsible are caught. However, due to improper procedure, DA Nick Rice has only circumstantial evidence. So he decided to take one of them to testify against the others. When Shelton learns that he is not happy. Ten years later, the one who is convicted is executed, but something is not right, its execution goes awry and he suffers. They learn that someone tampered with the machine. And another was found dead, killed in a horrific. Rice suspects Shelton, so he picked it up. At first, Shelton agreed to a plea deal with Rice, but changed his mind. It seems that Shelton is not done, obviously he blames the whole system and declared war on him go after all involved familys case. So Rice has to stop, but Shelton is way ahead of him.
